Patrick Hoffman > Trumpet
Dr. Hoffman holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois, a Master of Music from Indiana University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Georgia.
His teachers include Chris Jaudes, Ray Sasaki, Susan Slaughter, Bernard Adelstein, and former Canadian Brass member Fred Mills.
Hoffman was named substitute trumpet in the Atlanta Symphony before moving to Germany to perform with the Rekkenze Brass Quintet. He served as assistant first trumpet in the Hofer Symphoniker, and instructor of trumpet at the symphony music school in Hof, Germany.
Upon returning to the United States, he began teaching at Minot State University in his present capacity as instructor of trumpet and director of brass ensembles.
Hoffman has been an active chamber musician, performing with brass quintets across the United States and Europe, as well as Mexico and Japan.
