STUDENT INFORMATION: Facilities


Housing (Dormitories)

The experience of working and living together in residence halls with counselors and fellow students lays the foundation for a productive and fulfilling summer.

EQUIPMENT. All Residence Halls have a recreational lounge equipped with the following gear:

  • Pool table
  • Ping pong table
  • Fooseball table
  • Vending machines
  • Television

They also have four fully functional kitchens; a quiet study lounge; laundry facilities; and computer lab.

BEDROOMS. Each bedroom in the Festival housing facilities is networked for convenient internet access.

FLOOR ASSIGNMENTS. Males and females reside in separate buildings and are assigned to floors according to their age and grade level.

COUNSELORS. Each floor is supervised by at least three counseling staff members.


Meals

The Oneonta Dining services at SUCO offer a wide variety of foods at every meal, and are able to accommodate most diets at no additional charge (with advance notice).

NYSMF students, faculty, and staff will have exclusive use of a dining hall at SUNY Oneonta (meaning no time-sharing with other summer organizations), with the added bonuses of an ON-SITE BAKERY and GRILL STATION, where food is prepared to order!
