Everyone at NYSMF, from the youngest student to the oldest Visiting Artist, attends out of their love and respect for music.

NYSMF students are all among the top musicians of their respective schools. They come to our program seeking new challenges, including more concerts in one week than they normally perform in an entire school year, and chances to play alongside top musical professionals every single day.

Many of our students and counselors go into music in college, and will eventually become outstanding professional musicians themselves.

The NYSMF environment is one where young musicians can be entirely themselves.

The diversity and variety of NYSMF's students has been nothing short of extraordinary over these first two years.
