Additionally, if you are applying for NYSMF's Composition Program, make sure to review the additional required application materials (due by April 1). |
2) Complete the NYSMF Application Form Online |
The quickest, easist way to apply to is to use our NYSMF Online Application Form (click here to jump to that web page). You'll save time, hassle, postage, paper,
and reduce your carbon footprint to a mere toe-print in the
sand!
A NYSMF Teacher Recommendation is required of all first-time applicants. You
may use our standard Teacher Recommendation Form, or request that your recommender email your recommendation directly to us at
application@nysmf.org.

If you are using the online form, click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of that
page to send your application, and to pay the required $75
APPLICATION FEE. (via Paypal or major credit card. Please click here for complete information.)
EMAIL. You may scan and send any forms, recordings, etc. to us at application@nysmf.org.
FAX. You may fax any document to us toll free at (888) 632-3221. Our fax line is
available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
SNAIL-MAIL. Please avoid sending physical mail to our address if at all possible. It's not that we don't like letters and care packages -- using the Internet or the fax is just SO much faster, easier, Earth-Friendly, and creates an unbeatable electronic trail that virtually ensures no more lost or missing documents! Thanks for your understanding.

Late Applications
- Late applications will be accepted as long as we have available spots.
- Late apps must be accompanied by a $100 late application fee and payment
in full in a cashiers' or bank check, or via credit card number.
